"When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. "Sovereign Lord", they said, "you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them." Acts 4:24
It is a powerful thing when believers raise their voices together in prayer. It is part of our unity, part of who we are as the Body of Christ, part of our purpose.
The believers had just heard the report that Peter and John had made it clear to the chief priests and elders that they were going to continue to speak the name of Jesus and His message of salvation. So they in response pray this majestic, simple, yet profound prayer, glorifying God for everything He does, is doing and will do.
When we are in accord, proclaiming these things with one heart we are strengthened both individually and corporately. We must do this more often. Speak our truth, His Truth, as one. Proclaiming together what He has done will bolster our faith about what He is doing and will do.
Let us pray often together with boldness and power so that each and all of us can be empowered for the days and tasks ahead.
Praise our Sovereign Lord!!!!,
