When your flesh wants to watch that raunchy TV program………God says in Romans 13:12 --- Cast off the works of darkness……..

When your flesh wants to lash out in anger………….God says in Colossians 3:12–13 – Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other…………..

When your flesh wants to pass along a crucial report about another believer ………God says in Titus 3:2 – Speak evil of no one.

When your flesh is tempted to complain about your circumstances……….God says in 1Thessalonians 5:18 – In everything give thanks

When your flesh rises up against an authority you think is being unreasonable……..God says in 1 Peter 2:13 – Submit yourself for the Lord’s sake to every authority

When your flesh wants to wound that mate or child or friend who has wounded you………..God says in Romans 12:17 – Repay no one evil for evil…..

When your flesh wants to say something that makes you look good………God says in Proverbs 27:2 – Let another man praise you and not your own mouth

When your flesh wants to indulge in sexual fantasies………God says in Matthew 5:8 – blessed are the pure in heart

When your flesh wants to hoard your financial resources out of fear of the future………God says in Proverbs 28:27 – He who gives to the poor will not lack

When your flesh wants to shade the truth to protect your reputation……….God says in Ephesians 4:25 – Whether you eat or drink…..do all to the glory of God

Brothers and sisters in Christ……..it is time we get on our hands and knees and bow to our Lord and SURRENDER.
