Never Stop

"Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ." Acts 5:42

This is one of those verses that needs phrase by phrase brief illustration to make a few points. Remember, this is taking place in the midst of persecution and immediately following Peter and John, and the other apostles being flogged. We should take this verse and what the apostles did to heart and imitate them.

•"Day after day" - They witness every day.

"in the temple courts" - One of the best places to witness is right at Grace Harbor Church or wherever you fellowship.

"and from house to house" - Your neighbors should know you are a believer, share your faith with those closest to you.

"they never stopped" - The Gospel is perpetual and relentless.

"teaching" – Use the Bible when you witness.

"and proclaiming" – Your testimony is a positive witness

"the good news" – What Jesus did for you.

"that Jesus is the Christ" – What He can do for everyone. Take His word to heart and to the street. Jesus is the Savior of the world and each one in it.
