Death has Limits

“But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him." Acts 2:24

Peter continues to preach. God the Father raised His only Son from the dead. The death of Jesus was agonizing, but the glory of His resurrection completely overcame that.

Jesus paid the price of our sin on the cross and when He was set free from death we were set free from the eternal punishment of our sins. Praise the Lord. Just as impossible as it is for death to keep its hold on Jesus, that is how impossible it is for sin to keep its hold on us, if we surrender to the power of God's forgiving grace.

This is what the good news is all about. Peter preaches it well. May these powerful words give you renewed power in your life over whatever is trying to kill you or hold you down. It is impossible for death to defeat life. Start living powerfully today and forever.
