He Has Risen

"...He has risen..." Matthew 28:6]

These words are spoken every Easter Season more than at any other time. Of course it is that time of the year, but it is true all year long. He arose over 2,000 years ago and by doing so, changed everything for everybody forever. His resurrection showed the world that He conquered death and sin. What that means for us is that by accepting Jesus as our personal Savior we can have our sins forgiven and live forever with Him.

See why it is so important? You may not even be thinking about Easter yet. But, in a sense we should consider Easter and the fact that He rose every day, because it is the most important thing in life. Imagine if you didn't know it. Imagine, if you weren't a Christian, how it could change your life. This Easter, why not invite someone to church, why not go to a Palm Sunday or a Good Friday or a Maunday Thursday service? Why not really reflect on the amazing meaning of Easter. Not the Easter clothes or baskets or candy or bunny, but the true meaning of Easter.

If I were to sum up Easter with 3 words besides "He is risen" they would be "transforming life's purpose". God sent His Son to change the world, to save the world, to give our lives purpose and meaning. Do you know Jesus as Savior? Have you experienced His grace. If you have, then celebrate Easter with me, because it is the most important day of the year. If not, then I pray you meet Him this Easter and you too someday can rise again with Him. Have a Happy Easter because He is risen, He is risen indeed.

With His love and mine,
Pastor Fred
