Proverbs for Youth (Part 2)

We continue with 10 more gems of wise counsel from Solomon, compiled by intended audience by Florence Brownfield. I pray we will all receive the Holy Spirit’s understanding of the application of God’s truth through Solomon’s proverbs.

1. Seek mercy and truth. (Pro. 3:2)
2. Live long in peace. (Pro. 3:2)
3. Love peace. (Pro. 3:2)
4. Trust in the Lord. (Pro. 3:5)
5. Be not conceited. (Pro. 3:5)
6. Ask the Lord to direct you. (Pro. 3:6)
7. Do not be proud. (Pro. 3:7)
8. Honor the Lord with your goods. (Pro. 3:9)
9. Accept correction from the Lord. (Pro. 3:11)
10. Do not despise chastening. (Pro. 3:11-12)

The younger we receive these truths and practice their principles, the easier life will be for us. May the Lord give us strength and contrite hearts.
