Proverbs for Youth (Part 3)

This is Part 3 of Proverbs for Youth. All of the graduates of Grace Harbor Church 2014 received copies of Florence Brownfield’s new book simply entitled The Wisdom of Solomon and I am sharing from her edited compilation directed at specific audiences, but applicable to us all. Some of us got a poor foundation of these kinds of teachings and need to be reminded.

1. Expect the Lord to keep you in a crisis. (Pro. 3:25-26)
2. Keep a clean heart. (Pro. 4:23)
3. Watch your tongue (Pro. 4:24)
4. Watch your eyes. (Pro. 4:25)
5. Do not be a false witness. (Pro. 6:19)
6. Keep your father’s commandments. (Pro. 6:20)
7. Forsake not your mother’s laws (Pro. 6:20-22)
8. Honor your father (Pro. 6:20-22)
9. Hear your father’s instructions (Pro. 13:1)
10. Do not despise the Lord (Pro. 13:13)

I am sure at least one of these God can use in your life today. It is the nature of truth. It can only set us free when we believe, receive and surrender.
