"Moses About Jesus"

For Moses said, "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything He tells you." Acts 3:22

Yep, Moses is talking about Jesus here. Every Book in the Bible talks about Jesus. Jesus is the thread that weaves the whole Bible together.

Think about it. Jesus was raised up wasn't He? God raised Him up too didn't He. Jesus was like Moses in that he was definitely from God's people. Two of the gospels explain this with exhaustive genealogies. Indeed we should listen to every word Jesus says.

When Luke, the author of Acts shares with us what Peter said about what Moses said, the purpose is to validate for the listeners and subsequently us readers, that God has a plan from before time. And that now through our Savior Jesus we can be part of it.

This is good news. The whole Bible is about Jesus. Cover to cover. From beginning to end. The more we read and study it, the better we understand.
