Only One Saving Name

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

This verse is so full of powerful truth. Peter's profundity here is remarkable. Let it be clear beyond discussing, according to His Word, the following...

1. True salvation only comes through Jesus the Christ.

2. No other religion offers this salvation.

3. You must be saved or you will be eternally damned.

As unpopular as it is today to lay out anything in clear and concise terms, this is unabashedly true. Or, the whole premise of what followers of Christ believe is faulty. Since it is not, then this is a pivotal statement in Scripture.

This does not mean that anyone has the authority except Jesus who is saved and not. He determines, individually everyone's fate. We don't know. But we do know whether we are redeemed or not. I am because I believe Christ bled on the cross and died for my sins to be forgiven. I have confessed my need for that and accepted His free gift. I encourage all of you to do the same, knowing almost all the readers of this have. But, anyone who is unsure, right now, confess your need for a Savior to God. Humbly and sincerely request Him to forgive you. Accept that forgiveness and be saved. Upon doing that, welcome to the family of God.

All of us, thank Him again for His grace and live and share accordingly. If anyone tries to generalize or water down the meaning of salvation, now you know this verse.
