"Where's Jesus"

"He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through His holy prophets." Acts 3:21

Let me break this down by words and phrases to show how we can understand The Bible more easily if we deal with the words a few at a time.

A. He... Jesus

B. must remain... God the Father's decision

C. in heaven... that place in eternity where believers will be with him forever

D. until the time comes... not before and not after

E. for God... God the Father

F. to restore everything... God's plan from the beginning

G. as He promised... He always keeps His promises

H. long ago... in historical time

I. through His holy prophets... the Old Testament authors

By just using some inductive and deductive methodology, we can get so much more out of His Word. Hopefully this opened up your understanding not only of this passage, but of understanding the Bible more easily and deeply whenever you read and study it.
