For some reason today I am applying all this wisdom to stewardship. We certainly should be wise stewards with our financial resources.
- Do not seek revenge, Let God do that (Pro. 28:23)
- Do not profane the holy. (Pro. 20:25)
- Haste leads to want. (Pro 21:5)
- A gift will suppress anger. (Pro. 21:14)
- Be sure you can afford the pleasure you seek. (Pro 21:17)
- Do not mock. (Pro 22:10)
- Keep a good name (Pro 22:1)
- Help the helpless. (Pro 25:28)
- Practice self-control. (Pro 25:28)
- Do not go with an angry man. (Pro 22:24-25)
Let me share a few bullet points that might help you think about the money applications here in.
- Getting even is costly
- Giving is a sacred act of obedience
- Slow down the buying
- Forgiveness is a precious gift
- Debt is a tremendous burden
- Financial woes are never a joke
- Greedy and selfish are not good reputations
- Help generously
- Spendaholics beware.
- Debt collection is never easy.
Very thought provoking. What do you think?
